Upcoming Trips

There are a lot of places in and around Arizona that I will be hitting over the summer and fall. I am also scheduled to go to Miami, Lake Tahoe, and Ireland this year. More trips will be added monthly to this list so check back often!

Arizona Trips

Kinder Crossing Trail No. 19

In the Coconino National Forest is this little hidden gem of a trial that is Southeast of Flagstaff, which makes it a great day trip hike.

Reavis Creek Canyon

Located in the Superstition mountains, this 12.9 mile out and back trail leads to Reavis Falls. With an elevation gain over 3600 feet, this may be best to do over a weekend.

Walnut Canyon National Monument

Walnut Canyon National Monument is a United States National Monument located about 10 mi southeast of downtown Flagstaff, Arizona, near Interstate 40.

Reflection Canyon

Reflection canyon is located in the Abajo Mountains in Utah in a very remote section of the Lake Powell. This is an out and back 20 mile trek (4400 elevation gain) with stunning views.

Apache Lake

Apache Lake is one of four lakes along the Salt River in central Arizona. Great camping and boating area within 90 minutes of Phoenix.

Jerome, AZ

A popular tourist spot and Ghost Town, Jerome has everything from local artists, wine vinyeards, and plenty of tours showing off it’s infamous past.

Fossil Creek

20 miles east of Camp Verde, this popular trail is a quick drive from Phoenix with stunning views and plenty of swimming holes. You will need to reserve a parking spot ahead of time.

West Coast, USA

Pacific Coast Highway trip

I have always wanted to take a week or two and drive up the Pacific Coast Highway and camp along the ocean. I hope to be doing this summer of 2018.

Mid-west, USA

Colorado Waterfalls/Lakes

With its rugged terrain and soaring mountains I plan on visiting dozens of waterfalls and lakes to soak in the glory of nature over several trips.

Witches Gulch

Only accessible via the Upper Dells Boat Tour you’ll find Witches Gulch, a stunning narrow canyon full of nature and located in the Dells of the Wisconsin River State Natural Area

Overseas Trips

Bhangarh Fort

Located 243km south of New Delhi, India, this historic well known haunted castle where you are not allowed to visit after sunset due to the hauntings. So, of course, I want to go!!

Mogao Caves, Gansu, China

The Mogao Caves, also known as the Thousand Buddha Grottoes, form a system of 492 temples 16 miles southeast of the center of Dunhuang, an oasis strategically located at a religious and cultural crossroads on the Silk Road, in Gansu province, China.

Mexico

El Golfo de Santa Clara, Mexico

Located in the Gulf of California, this sleepy little fishing village is already starting to become a favorite destination for Rocky Pointe to get away from it all.
